Summus Rehabilitation Part Time Pelvic Floor PT Position - OPEN
Summus Rehabilitation is a locally owned, cash based physical therapy practice in Lakewood, CO. We are seeking a part-time physical therapist (full time option available with program growth) who specializes in treating the spine, hips, and pelvic floor for all people. We are seeking a kind, compassionate, and motivated individual who loves working with this patient population.
Summus Rehabilitation exists to provide high quality one on one care to patients experiencing symptoms with pregnancy, pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction (urinary incontinence, constipation, and urinary urgency/frequency), and complex conditions. Evaluations are 90 minutes and follow up treatments are 50 minutes.
Interested applicants must have a strong orthopedic background and manual therapy skills and feel comfortable treating the spine, pelvis, and hips. In addition, applicants must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a strong desire to learn, take continuing education courses, and grow within the field of physical therapy. Certification in dry needling is also preferred. It is important that the applicant has strong differential diagnosis screening techniques and thinks outside of the box to help patients suffering from musculoskeletal conditions recover.
1-3 years of experience is desired; however we are willing to mentor applicants who are motivated and desire to begin working in pelvic health.

Interested applicants will have one-on-one weekly meetings for mentorship which will include hands-on practice of manual therapy skills, review of complex patient cases, as well review of the latest research on pelvic floor physical therapy conditions.

Compensation: At Summus Rehabilitation, we do our best to compensate you fairly based on the patients you see. There is no base salary, and you are responsible for your health insurance.
Requirements: Current CO PT license and CPR license.
